Maybe I was being too literal, but I thought the hip-hop honeys were going to dance, or show us some dance moves. All they do is lay around and wiggle. They have to use stop-action editing to make it look like dancing. Since each one gets a chance to showcase their talents - why not let us see what talent is there? Alot of people were complaining about the races of the models - they are all cute but the only really black people you see are the rappers promoting the video. The effect is a little disturbing, reminds me of something I heard about the brown paper bag rule. Since it's not quite dancing & not quite porn, we probably won't watch it again. It might be nice to play in the background at a bachelor party - it's light and fun and the music is good.
P.S. My boyfriend did watch it again, but he watches only the 5-minute section featuring "Cat" He agrees it is nice but definitely not warranting the X-rated advertising.
P.S. They should make a DVD called 4:20 honeys. People would watch that! |
